Men in Glasses

I have to admit, I find men in glasses very attractive.  I personally though hate wearing mine.  I wear contacts most of the time.  My own eyesight is pretty bad, which in turn means my glasses are very thick, and I don't particularly look good in them.  However, many men do, even when they think it makes them look dorky.  I love dorky loveable guys, so glasses just make a guy more attractive.  Take he guy above.  He looks very sweet, and his eyes and half-smile give him a certain knowing look that speaks intelligence to me.

Dorothy Parker was extremely witty, but sometimes she was just wrong.  She once said "Men seldom make passes at girls who wear glasses," and she also said, "I require only three things of a man. He must be handsome, ruthless and stupid."  First of all, I think there are a lot of straight men who would make passes at girls who wear glasses, and I definitely think there are many gay men who will make passes at guys who wear glasses.  Furthermore, glasses do tend to be a sign of intelligence.  Those who read a lot, tend to need glasses.  If I were to give my three requirements for a man, it would be handsome, kind, and intelligent.  One out of three for Ms. Parker isn't too bad, but I don't want a man who is ruthless or stupid.  Grant it, Dorothy Parker was rarely serious in her quips, so I won't hold it against her.

So let me ask you guys two questions:  Do you wear glasses?  Do you find men who wear glasses attractive?

Yes and Double yes!! Glasses are such a sexy accessory now and can really add to a guy's look. I have a few friends who have two or three pairs of glasses just to change things up like any other accessory. So if you hate your glasses then I'd suggest getting new ones that add to your features and make a statement about your personality.

Not a guy, but yes & yes. And I agree with what Ethan said. Definitely look into changing your glasses to another style or two, to something you are happy with. :)

Yes,,,wear them, and YES...find them attractive in most cases....

Case in point...a young customer earlier this week, early 20s most likely, had a very stylish haircut and great rectangle glasses on his square face.....absolutely to die for in the appearance factor..and damn hot in every aspect...the hair and the glasses caught my attention first, then the tan skin of his face......oh, well...and, amazingly, he was from your home state...Alabama!!! What more could a guy ask for@@@@

I worn glasses since I was eight years old.

I don't think guys who wear glasses are any more or any less attractive than guys who don't. Its never been a factor for me. I just don't hit on guys - I'm not out yet.

Well I don't wear glasses yet but I'm sure that will change soon. However, I think guys who wear glasses are sexy. :)

I wore glasses from about age 13 until I was 33. Then I had Lasik. Best decision I ever made!!! No vanity involved, glasses are a pain, contacts are worse, and my vision was now 20/20, complete with good peripheral vision, too.

But, that being said, some guys are very sexy in glasses! Definitely NOT a turn off.

Peace <3

There was that really cute young man on Gay411 that was afraid to put some pics of him with his glasses fearing bad reactions...

I told him that he should put some of him with glasses because many men like to see that sexy intelligent look...

No problem for me. My ex did wear glasses and I do wear some for only 7 years now... Aging has its issues...

Worn glasses since I was four and although I'd love to replace them with contacts, the prescription makes that impossible. Never thought for a moment anybody might find them attractive.

Yes I wear them. Sometimes they add to the "hotness" factor in other guys, but I'd never count glasses "against" anyone, if that makes sense.

I think if you were a kid who had to were glasses and endure all the teasing like i did you have a different perspective than those who didn"t start needing them until hey were in their late 20"s or older. Also, I noticed that when eyewear fashions evolved for men in the early 1990"s so did most people"s opinions.

I had lasik and it was the best and easiest thing i have ever done. That was 9 years ago. It corrected for my near and far sight as well as my serve astigmatism. Now that age is affecting that correction. I"ll be getting it again. I hated wearing bifocals (since i was 2) and now i really hate needing reading glasses - especially just to use my phone. Those Scruff pics are too small ;)

Confidence. Whatever look you wear must be done with confidence. That is what makes anyone attractive.
I wear my contacts or one of a dozen pair of glasses. I like to change things up. I find guys that can pull a look together with the correct pair of glasses to be hot.
