I got a little distracted this morning watching Starfleet Academy and completely forgot to write a post. It happens.
There’s not much exciting to report today, but I am seeing my new neurologist for the first time. I’ve been waiting nearly three years for the Headache Clinic to hire a new permanent neurologist, so this appointment has been a long time coming. I’m cautiously optimistic—and really hoping this one sticks around.
She seems fresh out of medical school—very Dr. Bashir energy—though I’m realistic enough to know she won’t be nearly as distractingly attractive.
And since I haven’t posted an Isabella Pic of the Week in a while, here’s one for this week. 🐾
He is truly a handsome specimen of a man.

DeleteNo. Crap happens. Star fleet before your followers. Not nice Joe. Shame. Good luck today.
ReplyDeletePlease keep us updated on the results at the clinic, Joe.
ReplyDeleteTwo photos of Isabella in one! Awesome!
Everything went well with my appointment, even if it took four times as long as I’d expected. In the post, I said, “ She seems fresh out of medical school—very Dr. Bashir energy—though I’m realistic enough to know she won’t be nearly as distractingly attractive.” I was mistaken about one thing that I didn’t expect, she had a resident do the majority appointment, and he was as “ distractingly attractive” as Dr. Bashir. He even looked like him except this guy had fair skin and gorgeous blue eyes. Sadly, he was both too young for me and married, but very sweet. I could tell he was a bit nervous, but once I started chatting with him, he got more relaxed.
