Yea Alabama

Yea Alabama

Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you,
Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For Bama's pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!

Technically, this is a fight song, not a poem, but I am still happy that Alabama won the BCS National Championship.

ROLL TIDE!

  1. The Crimson Tied rolled through the stadium like the Mississippi out of its banks. A shut out!! The first in the bowl's history.

The Bear is looking down with a huge smile on his face this morning.....

As of the rest of us, I am yawning, yawning, yawning....but well worth the time to watch the game of the century.

Roll Tide -- And that is from a War Eagle fan!!!
