Thank you all again for your comments, emails, thoughts, and prayers. They truly mean a lot to me and have been a great comfort in the period of great stress and sadness. Grandmama is hanging in there, but the doctors hold out no hope. She just won't give up, though the doctors say her heart eventually will not be able to handle the stress it is under. She has not had a good last two days as she is beginning to feel more pain. At first she was not feeling any pain, but it is obvious whether medicine wears off that she is in great distress. The hospital is doing what they can to keep her comfortable.
I pray she is comfortable in these last days before her journey home. I can only imagine how difficult a time this is for you and your family.
ReplyDeletejOE.: I am praying for her peaceful demise and that
ReplyDeleteyou accept Our Lord Sdesign in resignation
She will live on your mind as long as you do
and you can think of her her as I do in my family
If she was the Grandma how described from you she will have a good or better life in her next incarnation. Be sure her mind will wander to another kind human around you. Pity you will not recognize her or him but you will have a good relationship. This is karma, this is life ...
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteYou, your family, and especially grandmama are in my prayers while you keep the watch as she passes into eternal life.
Let us pray...
Joe, I'm with your family. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my Grandma, and though I miss her, I was happy that I got to see her before the end. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. :(
