I first realized my husband was the man for me some time after we had met and become casual friends. The occasion was a conversation in which we were discussing where to go to meet men. I suddenly realized that this guy -- his mind, his heart, his spirit -- although not "my type" in the usual physical-attraction sense, was exactly the kind of guy I was looking for. And he was sitting right there in front of me. Why should I go looking somewhere else? It was a while before we began dating, but we have been together 10 years. Last March we got married.
