Christmas Break



It's the first weekday of my Christmas Break.  I'm gonna sleep in a little and then go and finish up my Christmas shopping.  Wish me luck.  I hate the crowds at stores during Christmastime, but I haven't had time before now.  I will smile, be cheerful, and wish people Happy Holidays.

    Smiling and wishing people Happy Holidays is a sure way to remain cheerful. There is a story about getting Christmas gifts that I will not tell, but the punch line is something like "Waiting in long line is part of the gift." So is smiling at the person at the register!

    Had a great (unexpected) Monday with the boy (since I'm off until Jan. 5th). No Christmas shopping (he expects to do his online). But we had fun going here and there and talking a lot! My gift to him was delivered today and the only way to obtain it mail order, so no crowds!

    But we smiled a lot in the stores, and had a grand time!
