I tend to prefer a shower, though there is something about a long luxurious bath. To me, a bath is an event, a ritual. It’s something that is soothing and relaxing. A shower can be relaxing as well. When I have a headache or back pain, I love to have the waters beat down on me and soothe those aching muscles. Which do you prefer: a shower or a bath?
Showers. But nothing beats a long soak with a good book.
ReplyDeleteShowers, here, and with a hand held head to target all the right places.
ReplyDelete...outdoor shower -- if possible
ReplyDeleteShower for me surely.
ReplyDeleteI find showering more hygienic and revitalising too.
I love to bathe but only in a spa for fun and after getting cleaned in a shower.
For sure, having a shower with another man is the summum of excitement and so fun too.
A shower because it's quick and easy. Though, if my tub was a large soaker tub, I would occasionally get in and relax. I agree that a bath would be an event not a daily ritual.
ReplyDeleteExcept once when visiting my brother in Japan several years ago, I don't think I've had a bath since I was a child. As JiEL says, showers are preferable for better hygiene. Once clean, relaxing in hot water is luxurious, I suppose, but time-consuming. (And luxury used to be considered sinful.)
ReplyDeleteShower....best when someone shares it.
ReplyDeleteA shower if I am in a hurry, but a long soaking bath with a magazine or book for luxuriance. At least an hour, maybe longer. As I age, however, I find it more difficult to arise from the tub.
