For years, I’ve had the hardest time waking up in the morning. It was pure torture. However, for the past several weeks, I’ve woken at 6 am or thereabouts and am wide awake. I can’t wait to get out of bed. I have no idea what has changed. I go to bed about 10 pm every night. I get up one or two times to go to the bathroom and then around 6 am I’m raring to go for the day. I never thought I’d be this much of s morning person.
Why so many trips to the bathroom?
ReplyDeleteThe bathroom thing stood out to me as well. You're young. Let's talk about fluids before bedtime.
ReplyDeleteI think waking up has something to do with age. I am a bit older than you, I think, and I wake up at 4:30 or 5, (no alarm) raring to go. When I was a teenager when I could doze till midday. And the bathroom trips are age related as well - frequent trips to the bathroom, especially at night are a possible sign of enlarged prostate (especially over 50 and much more so over 60 or 70). Enlarged prostates are not necessarily a problem however, so don't fret. Diabetes is another possibility - best advice is to get yourself tested for both. And watch your PSA.
ReplyDeleteIt is most likely the diabetes. I was diagnosed with diabetes a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteYou are raring to go at 6.00am, in my opinion, for one simple reason. For the first time you feel on top of your job, have confidence in your ability to handle its challenges, and cannot wait to get on to the next task. What a change! I am very happy to you. Not so happy about the diabetes. Roderick
