I just got off the phone with my doctor with the CT scan results. This is what I have:
This is what happened:
It will go away on its own in a few weeks. No surgery will be needed.

Glad they now know what the problem is and that surgery is not needed.

Thank goodness you found out the specific cause of your discomfort and that surgery is not recommended. Glad to hear it was nothing more serious. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have an answer. At least you know what it is.
Did they really just tell you to take some ibuprofen and it
will be gone in a couple weeks? The pain you've
described sounds more immobilizing than advil can
handle. Can it trigger headache?
Alexander
Glad you got good news, may make your trip easier. John
ReplyDeleteAlexander, basically, yes they did say take some over the counter pain relievers to alleviate the pain and it would go away in a few weeks. Usually any unusual pain or stress triggers headaches for me. The pain has been excruciating at times, but it seems to be getting some better. I was told that if the pain got worse to come back in.
ReplyDelete"Take two aspirin/advil and call the office if it gets worse." The medical profession at its most abysmal. Poor, poor Joe. Roderick
ReplyDeleteHope you get completely well very soon.
ReplyDeleteKisses and hugs! ^^
