Weekend Plans

Earlier this week, I ordered my new microwave from Best Buy. (By the way, why is this guy’s microwave so high up? To me, that’s too high to be useful, but I digress.) when I ordered my microwave, I swear I ordered the stainless steel one. Well, Best Buy sent me a notification yesterday that my microwave was ready to be picked up at their Lebanon, NH store. I chose that store instead of the one in Williston, VT (near Burlington) because I wanted to go to King Arthur Baking in Norwich, VT, which is right over the border from Hanover and Lebanon, NH. However, when I looked at the email, it showed that the microwave they had for me to pick up was a black one. I went back and looked at my order and it showed I’d ordered the black on, but I sweat I’d ordered the stainless steel one.

I knew I had to go to Burlington this weekend to buy a gift for my coworker who's leaving, so I was going to have to drive down to Lebanon one day and then drive up to Burlington the other day. I live almost exactly between the two towns and both are roughly 45 minutes away. Knowing that, I looked to see if the Williston Best Buy had the stainless steel microwave I wanted. They’d been out of it when I ordered the one from the Lebanon store. Luckily, they did have one, so I canceled the order in Lebanon and bought the one available in Williston instead. Now, I really only have to go to Burlington this weekend. If I’m up to driving up there, I may go tonight. If I do go tonight, I’ll probably drive down to King Arthur Baking tomorrow get more of the English Muffin Mix so I can make some more English muffins. If I go to Williston tonight and King Arthur Baking tomorrow, then I can have Sunday as a day of rest.

  2. It should be “who is” or “who’s.” I typed this on my iPad, so I blame the damn autocorrect, but thanks for pointing it out so that I could fix it.
