Happy Pi (π) Day!

  1. When I saw it on some other sites I was confuse as they would like you show a «pie».

I must say that the geometrical Greek letter «Pi» is pronounced «PEE» in French which is not related to that pastry named «tarte» in French.

As for «Pi» pronounced as «pie» could relate to «paille» in French which means, straw or hay.

Pie in French also pronounced «pee» is a bird named «Shrike» in English..

  2. A nut pie?
In France, in general, pies are fresh fruit; apple, apricot, strawberry, .... https://www.elle.fr/Elle-a-Table/Fiches-cuisine/Tous-les-themes/Recettes-de-tartes-aux-fruits
