Moment of Nature:
ReplyDeleteI have been an avid viewer of CBS Sunday Morning since Charles Kuralt first premiered the show nearly 100 yrs ago (lol). I watched it with my father, as he rifled through the Sunday Paper.
At the end of each episode, there would a quiet segment with nothing but a beautiful nature scene. Of late, many of your posts have included backdrops of nature. Whether they be photographs with land, rivers, beaches, mountains, or prairies these pictures are wishfully relaxing.
Connect to Self: Working and living in a crowed metropolitan region, and spending most of my day in a “glass box” has sensitized me to being in the Great Outdoors. The fresh air, quiet, and natural beauty is something that I look forward to enjoying whenever possible.
I fondly can recall my college experiences as a summer camp counselor near the Adirondacks. Life was fun, easy going, and unscripted; not a real care in the world for 10 weeks.
Anyway, be well & safe.
I have also been a Director of Leisure Activities (Camp Director in Spain) and it is hard, but very satisfying.
