When I was much younger, I had the opportunity to visit New England with college friends. Among the visits I most admired were Bristol RI, and Marblehead, MA. Both roommates were water enthusiast, and their parents had boats moored in the respective locations.
Although I grew up near the Great Lakes, watching the sun set deck side is a “Zen-acious” experience. The calm waters glistening with the shimmering mosaic colors of sunset is a feast for the eyes.
Nearly 35 years later, I am still drawn to sunsets by the waters edge. In Bristol RI, throngs of folks come out to observe this daily event — all year round.
Every time I see pictures of waters, sunset, and boats, my mind harkens back to the New England visits of my college days. It goes without saying, my face responsively breaks into a toothy smile.
Peace & Wellness…thanks for the trip down memory lane.
