A Sixty Year Romance
The picture above has a very interesting story attached to it. However, because the story was originally published in the New York Times, I am not able to repost it here, but I urge you to check out the following link: On Carrie Bradshaw’s Block, Romance Over 6 Decades by Diane Cardwell.

Those are GREAT suits. :)
What a wonderfulstory! It is always interesting to read about gay couples who are together fro s many years. Specially now, when the average length of marriage in the USA is 5.2 years.
Fascinating!!! And they were both handsome in the photo for sure....
wow 60yrs amazing
Great story. Great photo. I love photos of same-sex couples like that where the couple may not be touching, but you can tell there is a deep emotional and physical relationship between the two individuals.
Thanks for the link, Joe.
Dan
Yes, they are Writer.
QH and becca, you are right. A 60 year romance is so rare today, not just for gay people but for straight people as well.
Yes, they are quite handsome silvereagle.
Dan, these are some of my favorite types of photos. Those when even when not touching or outwardly showing affection, the love still shines through.
