Barry

The remnants of Hurricane Barry will be passing over Vermont the next few days. That means a low pressure system is moving through. I’ve been through enough tropical storms and hurricane to know what’s coming with the low pressure systems: sinus headaches. I had to leave work early yesterday because of one. The pressure around my eyes was causing pounding pain. I hate tropical weather, and thank goodness, it rarely comes to Vermont. However, come it has. We are even expecting a heat wave this weekend. Thank goodness I have an air conditioner now. Does anyone else get affected by weather like this?

Life might be better if you did not complain all the time.

I often feel under the weather.

I agree with ANONYMOUS.

ALL of us have our shortcomings and health issues and we don't always complain….
Embrace your human condition and pray your God to help you face your problems.

I'm 68yo and for sure I have many health issues but I embrace LIFE for what is the most beautiful in it.
Live the present moment.

Joe, I totally understand where you are coming from. Any time we have a major (and some time not so major) low pressure system move through the area the sinus pressure starts and I just hope and pray that it does not turn into a full fledged migraine. The remnants of Barry moved through this area yesterday and things weren't that bad. Hoping it's the same for you.

With each low pressure system I have experienced joint pain -- every joint in my body. This has gone on for more than fifty years. I have never gotten used to it. Pain is pain, and "the power of positive thinking" does not help much.

Hi Joe. My headaches are no where near what you experience regularly. But yesterday, I did notice a slight pressure headache when I was forced to be outside for a bit. The heat and humidity here in NYC was, and will continue to be, oppressive through Monday. Take care and keep cool. <3

If I'm not careful, weather like that can trigger a migraine. So I have an idea what you're going through.
