PS----I forgot to give you the link to a couple of my favorite shoe places---Johnston & Murphy---- https://www.johnstonmurphy.com/c/men/mens-shoes/mens-dressclassics --- I do have a pair of Beckett Simonon shoes---- I got them 40% off----And I had to have them---They were handmade and took a few months to get to me----They would send me emails letting me know where they were in the process--- Check them out--- https://www.beckettsimonon.com/collections/shoes?view=new-collection
The Beckett Simonon are a bit out of my price range, but they are beautiful shoes. I wouldn’t want to wear them in Vermont though. Maybe if I lived in a better climate. I have always loved Johnston & Murphy shoes and have owned quite a few pairs of them. In fact, they me of the pairs I need to replace are Johnston & Murphy. I wish we had some decent department stores in Vermont. Growing up, I loved getting my shoes from Parisians, but it’s not quite the same since it was taken over by Belk. Now Dillard’s is the place down south that I’d probably go to. There used to be a Macy’s in Burlington but it closed around the second year after I moved here.
