This is really Isabella’s moment of zen and not mine. Nearly every morning when I get out of bed, Isabella immediately curls up in the warm spot I just vacated. Usually, she stays there for most of the morning before venturing out of the bedroom around lunchtime.

Cats have their own habits depending on what they are feeling.
For my for cats, they use to sleep with me sometimes on the covers. Lee Lou my black 7yo female cat would pass all night near me and would change side depending on which side I sleep to see my face. She would step out of bed only when I get up en really puch her to open my blankets.
For Adam 3yo, he would sleep with me too but go all over the appartement during the night. But in the morning around 6ham, he will come on my chest and purrs to make me get up. He likes to lick my ears and chin. As I usually get up arond 9 o'clock, he will come back occasionnaly to try again to wake me up.
For my two siamiese 3yo, the smallest twin, Sancho will come also as Adam and he would linger and trow himself on his back so I can pet his belly. Also purring. Waiting to me to get up and give them the morning tuna treat.
For Gaël, the tallest siamiese, he's a prince and somewhat a bit scared of me when I get up. But he would come as I'm under the covers to get pet and he too would turn on his back so I can pet his belly.
All the morning's behaviors are for me to get up and give them the tuna meat treat from the can.
Adam and Lee Lou are the most affectionate cats of the bunch.
Adam would be the kind of sticky one, a real scotch tape following me all over the place.
He is not even afraid of the vacuum cleaner.
Lee Lou has this unbelievable sensibility that even if she's at the other end of my large appartement and even sleeping, she seems to know when I go to the toilet and sit on the bowl.
As soon as I sit, there she comes wanting to be pet and she goes on her back so I can scratch her belly.
So many ways they act to show how they «love» us.
But don't be fooled, they own us and we are their servants.. LOL !
