Joe, how are you this morning? How are the extraction site and your face doing? I do hope that all is well. I take it that binge watching is what you are up to. Roderick

By the way, I resemble the young man except that (a) I have a short sleeve shirt on as well (walk shorts coming!), and (2) don't like binge watching tv, Roderick
P.S. Further by the way, I never thanked you for your excellent information on the resources available in the three towns (Montpelier, Berlin, Barre). While I am familiar with NY and Mass. northern Vermont is unknown country to me, hence my mixing up Burlington with Montpelier. Your comments on your own town made it very real for me!

Roderick, I am beginning to feel better. I'm still having soreness, but I can basically brush my teeth normally again without a lot of pain. I'm still having headaches, but they feel more like sinus headaches. I have been binge-watching a few tv series. When I don't want to have to think, I rewatch Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I can't tell you how many times I have seen the whole series. It's close to a dozen at least, but it allows me to have something on and take my mind off the pain I'm having.

With your comment about resembling the guy above, I really want to see a picture of you. Susan told me she did too, LOL. I hope you are doing well.

I'm more in Central Vermont just on the very edges of the Green Mountains, which is why we are still getting snow this time of year. It snowed this morning, but because it had rained so much and wasn't below freezing, nothing stuck. I'm glad you liked the information about this area of Vermont.

Joe, as I told you some time ago, when you asked your commentators/readers who they were, I fly as far as it is possible these days below the radio. Some day, I promise you, I will reveal all including a photograph. But - alas! - I don't at all resemble the guy in your image, so don't you and Susan get your hopes up. I am real - as in my affection for you - but not what you might think. Roderick
P.S. If you live in central Vermont, what the hell is there in northern Vermont?

Roderick, I hope you didn't take any offense to what I said. I was just joking. While I like getting to know more about my readers, I understand there are many that fly under the radar as much as possible. When I lived in Alabama, I did as well. I said I was in Alabama, but I gave no indications to allow anyone to guess where in Alabama. While I don't say my name, anyone who pays attention and does a quick Google search could figure out who I am. I have to make a confession, sometimes I wonder if you are someone I actually know in real life, but the possibility of that is probably very small. Anyway, I hold you in great affection as well and always look forward to your comments. I greatly value the affection you have for me.

As for northern Vermont, most of northern Vermont is known as the Northeast Kingdom (or Northeast Queendom as the VT drag group the LeMay sisters call it). It is one of the most rural backwoods areas in the country. It is sparsely populated and trends more towards conservative politics. Saint Johnsbury is the only place in the Northeast Kingdom I have ever been. I have been to St. Albans in the northwestern part of the state. St. Albans has an interesting history as the site of the northernmost land action in the Civil War.

No offense was intended and none was taken by me. No, you don't know me personally. Our backgrounds could not be more different. We may have never met, but that is not significant. Our is a real if 21st century (social media) friendship which I am grateful to have and to enjoy. Thanks for telling me about northern Vermont. As always, Roderick
