BosGuy, the source of anxiety was a meeting I had this morning. Now, it's a source of being pissed off. Everything will eventually be OK, but I had brought up the issue of some problems at the museum, and I was told that I was the problem because I am apparently "too nice and talk a too much." There's more to it, but that is the basic message I received.
My hosting duties last week went very well. I was told that we were the best experience this speaker has had for these type of talks.
"Too nice aand talk too much"? What the dickens!!! That sounds like an attempte to dodge responsibility by the one who realizes that he's at fault for the problems and needs to work with the rest of the staff to fix them.
Congrats on the good feedback from the guest speaker, who evidently didn't think that you were too nice or talked too much.
